Katie Derham and Nick Mohammed lead the BBC celebrations live from the Royal Albert Hall as the biggest party in classical music gets under way.
Superstar pianist Yuja Wang and operatic sensation Nicky Spence top the bill as Sakari Oramo conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, alongside the BBC Singers.
The spectacular programme includes a celebration of Holst's Jupiter and Bernstein's sparkling Overture to Candide, as well as a special tribute to the Queen of Country, Dolly Parton.

What is on the Last Night of the Proms programme?
The programme features a mix of classical favourites, new commissions and performances celebrating some of the biggest names in music.
The first half includes Leonard Bernstein's Candide – overture, John Foulds' Keltic Suite – Lament, Dvořák's Rusalka – 'Vidino divná,přesladká' (Prince's Aria) and Smetana's Má vlast – Vltava.
Samy Moussa's Dithyramb and the world premiere of Samuel Barber's Piano Concerto will also feature before the interval.
After the interval, Sheridan Smith, Beverley Knight and Ward Thomas perform Dolly Parton favourites as part of To Dolly, With Love, including 9 to 5, I Will Always Love You and Jolene.
Holst's The Planets – Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity is also among the major highlights.
The second half also features Alexander Tsfasman's Jazz Suite for piano and orchestra, Scotch Snap, the world premiere of Anne Dudley's Iris of Life and the world premiere of Frank Loesser's Guys and Dolls – 'Sit Down, You're Rocking the Boat'.
The traditional finale includes Fantasia on British Sea-Songs, 'Rule Britannia!', Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 ('Land of Hope and Glory'), Jerusalem, The National Anthem and Auld lang syne.
