Amir Khan reveals mum’s stage 4 cancer diagnosis

BOXER Amir Khan has revealed that his “dear” mother has been diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer. 

The professional athlete made the announcement on Instagram this afternoon (January 21) about his 54-year-old mum Falak.

“My dear mum has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, stage 4” he told his 1.3 million followers.

Khan added: “Today she’s feeling a lot better and stronger. Please keep her in your prayers.”

Friends and fans flocked to the post to send their best wishes and support for the family at this tough time.

Paul Malignaggi said: “A fighter’s heart runs in your family so no doubt she’s strong and is ready to fight this.

“Prayers for you and your family brother.”
