THE unlucky driver of a £200,000 customised Lamborghini Urus was forced to walk home after their supercar was seized on the M1 at Rotherham.
South Yorkshire Police stopped the 20-plate matte back 4×4 on the motorway after receiving reports of "supercar racing" in the Yorkshire area.
The angry resident tweeted the force's operation support unit, they said: "Supercars racing around Canklow, Bawtry Road and Moorgate most of week."
They added: "Where are the police are or they waiting for the crash?"
Officers were quick to slam the complaints, replying with a photograph of the seized Italian motor – sporting a police seized sticker slapped on the rear window.
Sorry for the late reply – we cover the entire force so are extremely busy on a regular basis.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: "We cover the entire force so are extremely busy on a regular basis.
"As for what we are doing, one Lamborghini was seized on the M1 a few nights [ago].
"This one [was] seized in Rotherham on the night of [the] tweet to us."
"Far from waiting for a crash," they added – slamming the angry resident's claim that police were doing nothing to tackle the "supercar racing".
