Victoria Derbyshire says ‘oh my god’ in on-air BBC News fail

BBC NEWS presenter Victoria Derbyshire was caught up in a hilarious early-morning epic fail after struggling to put on her “very high” heels.

The presenter could be heard live on-air whispering “oh my god” as she missed her queue to enter the camera frame at 9am this morning (August 12).

Footage captured of the embarrassing ordeal quickly got shared all over social media, leaving Victoria no choice but to address the incident.

Sharing a picture of the said heels, she said: “oh god, I couldn’t get my very high heels on.”

Tweets poured in from across the UK with hundreds of people spotting the live gaffe – “sorry about that delay,” says Derbyshire in the hilarious clip.

This isn’t the first time technical issues have occurred on BBC News – with an entire studio operated by ‘robot cameras’, mistakes happen on a regular basis.

Although this time, it wasn’t the cameras’ fault.
