THE CABINS contestant Tom is in a "long-term relationship" and "was when the show was filmed", The Entertainment Gazette can exclusively reveal.
According to a source close to the reality TV 'singleton', his girlfriend knew about him going on the dating show the whole time.
Speaking exclusively to The Entertainment Gazette, the source revealed the pair are still dating despite his antics with Olivia on the show.
On tonight's show (January 6), Tom treated his campmate Olivia to a Magic Mike dance before kissing her leg.
"She probably feels like a mug," said our insider. "When he returned from filming, he denied even kissing Olivia."
"When the first trailer came out, where you could see them kiss, he had to backpedal on his story."
WhatsApp screenshots seen by The Entertainment Gazette show friends discussing the show and Tom's airtime.
"Only a couple of weeks till he's single," joked one of the group chat members. "This will be so good to watch."
"Tom knows himself it will be so cringe to watch. Tom was telling me that his girlfriend's mum was going mad about the 'How good in bed are you out of 10?' comment on the trailer."
On Tom's official Instagram, posts made around the time of The Cabins filming, show him with his rumoured girlfriend.
The pair tag each other in photos, with one of the photographs tagged 'Couple Goals' earlier last year.
Our source added: "Tom is in a long-term relationship and was when the show was filmed. They are still together and she knew he was going on."
Dozens of comments from tonight's show ask if Tom and Olivia are together after the show; our source claims he's still with his long-term girlfriend.
"I believe he applied [for The Cabins] before he was 'official' with his girlfriend," they added.
Tom and Olivia left The Cabins tonight (January 6) as 'the first cabins couple'.
Shortly after this article was published this evening, Instagram posts containing Tom and his rumoured real girlfriend have been deleted.
The Cabins continues weeknights at 9pm on ITV 2 and is available to catch up on the ITV Hub.
