Prince Harry's relocation to California with Meghan Markle following their departure from the Royal Family has raised concerns among royal experts.
According to Phil Dampier, a well-known author in royal matters, Harry's move has made him heavily reliant on Meghan for his social interactions. Phil has voiced his observations, stating, "Not only has he lost his family, his royal status, and military connections, but he's also lost a lot of friends.
"I get the impression he hasn't got a circle of drinking buddies he can unwind within Montecito, which has a population of older people, and I'm sure that takes its toll." This has led him to conclude that Harry "is dependent on Meghan for his social life."
In spite of these concerns, Prince Harry did recently take some time away from Meghan. Just a fortnight ago, he was captured with a smile on his face, enthusiastically waving at fans while visiting a race track in Austin, Texas. During this solo trip, Harry met with the Mercedes team, and his demeanour appeared relaxed. He engaged in lively conversations with the team, showing genuine interest in what they had to say.
However, Harry soon reunited with Meghan to celebrate Halloween with their children, Archie and Lilibet. The family-of-four joined other young families in Montecito for some trick-or-treating. Archie held his father's hand, carrying a pumpkin basket to collect sweets, dressed as a skeleton, while Meghan carried Lilibet, who wore a billowing pink costume.
Despite these moments of separation and reunion, the concerns about Harry's social circle and dependence on Meghan continue to linger, highlighting the challenges that can arise from such a significant move away from one's family and friends.
