BIG Brother icon Gemma Collins says producers would leave the housemates' bright bedroom lights on "all night".
The former TOWIE star says her season co-star Nancy Dell'Olio even threatened to sue Channel 5 over the lighting situation.
Gemma appeared on the classic 'David's dead' celebrity series alongside Angie Bowie, David Gest and Jonathan Cheban in 2016.
Some of her most iconic memes were born on Celebrity Big Brother 17 – which was the first celebrity edition to launch under the new three-year contract that was announced in March 2015.
Speaking of ITV's Big Brother reboot, she said: "Bring it back! The one thing I remember is that you don't get much sleep in there because they leave the lights on all night.
"I don't know what it's like in the civilian one but the lights are on pretty much most of the night and it's really weird," she told New magazine.
Gemma added: "I remember Nancy Dell'Olio was like, 'When I get out of here, I'm going to sue them. This is what they used in Guantanamo Bay as torture.'
"I get what she was saying. Because after sleeping with the lights for a long time, it drives you mad!"
