"When I got back, I went to my GP and yeah I was told unfortunately it is grade three cancer and I need a mastectomy, chemotherapy.
"I never thought for a million years at 32 that I'd be diagnosed with breast cancer, there I was living my life to the full on Strictly Come Dancing. I just got married, cancer doesn't discriminate." Amy had tied the knot with husband Benjamin Jones.
It was back in February she received the all clear, appearing on Lorraine shortly after getting the news, sharing a dancefloor update.
"I am just itching to get on that stage and do some dance moves."
An insider previously revealed Amy "never lost any of her sparkle" throughout her battle, telling the Mirror: "It was quite the moment when Amy got up to dance … and she obviously blew everyone away with just how good she is.
"It's been such a long journey for her but she has never lost any of her sparkle."
