MORE young men are opting for Speedo-style swimming briefs this summer in a fashion switch-up like no other, new statistics have revealed.
Is Tom Daley to blame for this new fashion trend? More and more millennials and 'Gen Zers' have revealed they'd rather wear Speedos this summer.
A third of men aged 18 to 30 (34 per cent) proudly 'smuggle the budgie' more than any other age group, hotel booking site hoo has revealed.
Meanwhile, only five per cent of British men aged 41 to 50 typically wear them.
Twenty-nine per cent of Gen Z men also admire the handkerchief-sized briefs over regular full-length swimming trunks.

It's an interesting fashion change, moving away from James Bond star Daniel Craig in his iconic blue 'Casino Royale' swimming trunks…
More than half of 18 to 30-year-old blokes (54 per cent) believe that since Daley and Matty Lee won gold in the men's synchronised diving at the Tokyo Olympics last month, it's time for skimpy beachwear to make an official comeback.
The poll of 2,000 men was commissioned by hoo which has just created their own cheeky line of limited-edition swimmers.
Duncan McKenna, global marketing director at hoo, said: "We know people are continuing to find ways to make the best out of their holiday trips this summer.
"By launching JUNX, we hope to alleviate some of the stresses that tourists often face during their beach or poolside trips.
"With the majority of families planning a staycation this year, JUNX are guaranteed to brighten up the trip, regardless of the unpredictable UK weather."
