ANTI-VAX protesters – against the BBC's coverage of the coronavirus pandemic – stormed the broadcaster's former Television Centre by mistake.
Attempting the gain access to Television Centre in White City to interrupt the BBC, it seems protesters were unaware that the BBC vacated in 2013.
ITV News and Loose Women presenter Charlene White was on air during the altercation earlier this afternoon (August 9) and has thanked the police and security staff.
She said: "Huge thanks to Andy and the security team over at Television Centre.
Anti-vaxxers protest BBC coverage of pandemic by storming a building in White City. A building the BBC vacated in 2013 and is now luxury flats. Is there a link between stupidity and anti-vax? Opinions vary but evidence is growing …

"The protesters attempted to gain access to the building while we were live on air with @loosewomen – and we've only just left, because of safety.
"Andy and his team were just incredible, thank-you.
"And also huge thanks to the swift response of London's @metpoliceuk… not an easy situation for them to deal with either.

"Not sure what protestors were hoping to achieve, but all they would've found was me, Jane, Nadia and Penny on @loosewomen talking about the menopause.
"Anyway… protestors or not, I've still gotta finish my working day.
"So, off to @itvnews for the 18.30 show.
Anyway… protestors or not, I've still gotta finish my working day. So, off to @itvnews for the 18.30 show. Despite having zero sympathy for my earlier predicament, I know my Programme Editor @edsaunt was slightly panicked I wouldn't make it in time. Don't worry Ed – I'm coming!
