LONDON commuters enjoyed a sweet surprise yesterday (February 13) after Network Rail replaced the name of St Pancras Station on the departure boards to 'London St Pancake'.
If Pancake Day wasn't already sweet enough, this nationwide prank by our beloved rail service providers has really made everyone's day.

Commuters took to social media, sharing pictures from their stations, Southeastern Railway said on Twitter: "Mmmm did someone mention pancakes?
"Happy Pancake Day! (with lashings of maple syrup)"
David Wornham, passenger services director at Southeastern, told News Shopper: "We're really pleased to have put a smile on our passengers' faces this morning [Feb 13] , and hope we have topped their Pancake Day!"
