DALTON HARRIS was crowned the winner of The X Factor 2018 tonight (December 2) and has released winner's single The Power of Love with James Arthur.
Dalton and James, the 2012 X Factor winner, first performed the Frankie Goes to Hollywood Christmas classic, originally released in 1984, during tonight's final.
All UK record company profits from the X Factor 2018 winner's single will be donated to children's hospice charities, Together for Short Lives and Shooting Star Chase.
Tonight's performance of The Power of Love marks the end of a phenomenal 15th series of The X Factor.
Dalton has been one of the standout contestants across the series, having been the highest charting X Factor act on iTunes.
Dalton has had four of his songs enter the iTunes Top 30 so far, including I Have Nothing, Creep and California Dreamin', while his Big Band Week performance of Beyoncé's Listen peaked at No. 15, the highest peak of the series.
The Winner's Single is now available to download and stream. It's The X Factor UK's 11th charity release.
Simco Limited will donate 100 per cent of its profits from the sale of each download and in respect of all audio streaming of the single, and the Chancellor has also agreed to donate the VAT, in each case to be shared equally by Together For Short Lives, registered charity no. 1144022 and Shooting Star Chase, registered charity no. 1042495.
