A MASSIVE inflatable Santa Claus has caused major delays in a Cambridgeshire town this afternoon ahead of a visit from Prince Charles and Camilla.
The large Christmas decoration can be seen blocking a main road going into Wisbech in Fenland moments before a scheduled visit from The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.
Cars were unable to pass the huge Father Christmas blocking one side of Cromwell Road at around 1.30pm today (November 27). A car can be seen with its hazard lights on in front of it.
Taxi driver Muhammad Fareed captured the hilarious scene on camera as he was heading out of the town. The incident brought the road to a standstill, leaving people wondering what to do.
The father-of-three from Peterborough told BBC News that the giant Santa had broken free from the front garden of a house on the road and that "it did raise a smile".

He said: "I saw it wobble and then come down on to the road. Two men attempted to pull it away from the carriageway. It was massive, bigger than my seven-seater car."
Seeing the funny side, the AA officially announced that the road was "partially blocked" and there was "slow traffic due to a large inflatable Santa on the B198 Cromwell Road both ways in Wisbech".
The road has since re-opened.
