LOVE Island star Adam Collard was attacked by thugs while trying to enjoy a night out with girlfriend Paige Thorne.
He was mobbed at the Market Shaker bar in Newcastle city centre on Tuesday night where the mob nearly ripped off his shirt.
Security guards were forced to step in when the altercation erupted shortly after midnight in the city's popular nightspot.
Footage obtained by The Sun shows the moment the group of lads grab Adam's clothing – almost tearing off his top entirely.
An eye-witness claims clubgoers were trying to crowd Paige and Adam – saying the pair "wasn't happy at all".
"Then people started to rip his top off and it all kicked off," they told The Sun.
"It's no surprise he wanted to defend himself and was obviously looking out for Paige as well.
"They were just out a drink together with friends and they didn't need that hassle."
A spokesperson for Adam said: "Adam was trying to enjoy a quiet night in his hometown with friends when a large group of men began aggressively harassing them.
"Despite several attempts to diffuse the situation, the men continued to become more aggressive and started physically attacking Adam.
"Understandably, Adam and his friends were extremely shaken up by the situation and felt it was best to leave and we're safely escorted by the security team outside."
They confirmed that no further action has been taken and Northumbria Police claimed they were not called out to the nightclub incident.
