Joey Essex has confirmed he's split from his former Love Island co-star Jessy Potts seven weeks after leaving the ITV2 villa.
Since their show departure, the couple have faced criticism from fans, with some branding their now collapsed relationship a "showmance".

They've been living separate lives despite leaving the popular dating programme an item, with Joey spending a lot of time away from Jessy.
After brutally being branded the "least compatible" on Love Island, the pair tried to make it work in the real world, but it hasn't worked out.
"Unfortunately, we have decided to call an end to the relationship but I hope we can continue to be friends," Joey announced on Wednesday.
"I truly wish Jessy the very best with whatever she does in the future," he said, despite suggesting their pair were gearing up to make a family.
Only last month, he said: "We both want a big family. But we're having a bit of a tiff at the moment. She wants four, I want eight.
"Imagine how great that would be? I'm ready. I'd do it tomorrow. Maybe even tonight." But now Jessy has opened up about their split.
She told The Sun they "tried to make it work but it wasn't meant to be". Jessy explained: "I'm so grateful to everyone who supported us and look forward to all of the exciting opportunities ahead."

Things appeared to be going well only recently when Joey told OK! Magazine: "If anyone focused on just me and Jessy as a couple, and not all the other drama, you'd see we were very genuine in the villa.
"From the minute I met Jessy, I never looked any other way. There were no red flags with each other. We were tested the most out of everyone, but we came through it. We took our time, had fun and enjoyed each other's company.
"We weren't jumping to make decisions because the next bombshell was coming in, or because it was Casa Amor, we did things our way. We played it correctly. We weren't in it to win it. We just wanted to be together," he concluded.
