THE Wanted singer Max George has reportedly turned down a £160,000 payday to appear on E4's Celebs Go Dating.
Show producers allegedly tried to tempt the 33-year-old with a six-figure deal following his recent split from Stacey Giggs.
It comes amid romance rumours surrounding the star about a possible relationship with EastEnders star Maisie Smith.
The pair have been pictured on several holidays together – and recent pictures show the alleged couple holding hands in London.
Speaking of the E4 deal, a TV insider said: "Unfortunately Max turned it down – despite the huge pay cheque."
"He has no ambitions to be on a dating show especially so soon after his split with Stacey," they told The Sun newspaper.
The telly insider added: "He's found the past few days tough and says he's trying to keep a low profile and stay out of the spotlight for a while."
