REALITY star Ferne McCann admitted her leaked WhatsApp voice note scandal was not her "finest hour".
The former TOWIE star was allegedly heard making derogatory remarks about her ex co-stars Sam Faiers and Billie Shepherd.
Audio clips also allegedly see McCann talk about her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins' acid attack victim Sophie Hall.
Speaking on Wednesday's episode of This Morning, Ferne broke down in tears as she discussed the whole ordeal.
"It definitely wasn't my finest hour," she said. "It definitely was a difficult time in my life when those voice notes were leaked."
She added: "But I need to take this opportunity to publicly apologise again to those affected.
"Obviously the words that I used were unpleasant and I have reached out privately to those people.
"These voice notes were from a time when I was in a very vulnerable situation and it was a very, very difficult situation for me five to six years ago."
Ferne said she has since "done a lot of work" on herself and has "been in therapy".
"I've been in therapy for six years and I feel that I am a different person," she added.
McCann said she was unable to share her "full truth" as the leaked voice note saga is currently in a "criminal investigation".
This Morning continues weekdays on ITV.
