Ryan Thomas joked his Dancing On Ice victory only happened because Greg Rutherford was forced to quit the ITV show.
The 37-year-old missed the popular programme's final after a serious injury during rehearsals where he was rushed to hospital.
Celebrity Big Brother star Ryan skated to victory alongside Amani Fancy during Sunday's final, beating Miles Nazaire and Vanessa Bauer.

But it was during an appearance on Lorraine on Tuesday that Thomas said the only reason he won was because of Greg's exit.
"From week one you would have never have thought that I would be in the final. Amani had her work cut out for me," he told Lorraine Kelly.
"Greg was so good. Greg if you are watching I'm not glad you went out but you're probably the reason I got the trophy.

"I want to give the trophy to Greg because he really deserves it. I'm not sure how he will feel having it on his mantelpiece with my name on it.
"He does deserve it though, I felt like I had imposter syndrome throughout the show."
The Olympian's fiancée Susie Verrill recently issued an update on the star's health, saying he was "recovering well".
Greg has since fired back at his partner's post, insisting: "No I'm not."
"Ok ignore, would like everyone to know he's actually in a lot of pain," Susie later explained.
Lorraine continues weekday mornings on ITV and ITVX
