SEASIDE shoppers in Skegness, Lincolnshire, got the shock of their lives when they spotted a £350,000 Lamborghini in the sky.
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a new VIP nightclub wanting their unique selling point to be an Italian supercar… in the bar.
The Hive – Skegness hoisted the chrome-wrapped Lamborghini supercar up three floors into its 'Supercar VIP Lounge'.
Club owners had planned for an 8am lift on Thursday (May 27) but delays were caused when the crane failed to turn up.
"There were quite a few stressful moments but we achieved something that's never been done before," said Richard Hutchinson, general manager of The Hive club.
"It was the world's first Lamborghini to be craned to the third floor to create a brand-new VIP lounge which is coming soon. Fantastic team effort all round."
"It got lifted on to the centre stage of our VIP Lounge," added Mr Hutchinson.
"This is set to be a unique bar experience, not only in Skegness but the whole of the UK, so don't miss out and keep an eye on our page for the opening night details."
