Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary figure from Black Sabbath, has made it clear that he won't return to the UK unless he's permitted to bring his cherished dogs with him. Ozzy and his wife, Sharon, have made their home in the United States for an extended period, but they've been contemplating a return to their native country. Ozzy's attachment to his four-legged companions is unwavering.
On a recent episode of 'The Osbournes' podcast, as previewed by DailyMail.com, the 74-year-old rock icon passionately declared, "In going back to England, I'm going to [saying to] Sharon: 'I ain't going nowhere without these f****** dogs'."
When their son, Jack, inquired about the status of their impending move, Sharon explained that it was postponed due to ongoing renovations at their Buckinghamshire residence. Jack probed further, asking whether they still intended to relocate once the house was ready. Ozzy, with a mischievous tone, interjected, "I'm not saying a word. Your mum is going to be very lonely."
Reportedly, the couple is contemplating chronicling their relocation in a reality TV series for the BBC.
In a prior podcast episode, Ozzy divulged that their plans to move have been in the works for four years. Sharon clarified her motivation for the move, stating, "This is what I've learned – you can't plan anything. I just feel that I wanna go home. I wanna give your father [Ozzy] a chance to live his life. We can do more of what we want in England than we can here."
Contrary to speculations that their decision was influenced by Ozzy's health issues, including his diagnosis with Parkinson's disease, the couple emphasized their desire to return home.
Ozzy also expressed his frustration with the escalating levels of gun violence in the United States. In an interview with the Observer newspaper, he exclaimed, "Everything's f****** ridiculous here [in America]. I'm fed up with people getting killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings. And there was that mass shooting in Vegas at that concert… It's f****** crazy."
He further emphasized, "I don't want to die in America. I don't want to be buried in f****** Forest Lawn [cemetery in Los Angeles]. I'm English. I want to be back… It's time for me to come home."
