A BARGAIN hunter from Blackburn has used his shop-savvy skills to secure the deal of a lifetime. He managed to bag 22 chicken nuggets and two large fries from McDonald's for less than a quid.
Father-of-three Jonathan Garratty took advantage of a £10 discount code offered to first time Uber Eats customers. The deal can be applied to any restaurant on the app but Jonathan decided to use it at Maccie's.
The 26-year-old ordered a 20 McChicken Nuggets Sharebox with four dips valued at £4.49 and two large fries worth £2.78. With the delivery fee of £3.50, Jonathan's order should have come to £10.77.
Garratty used the special code and got everything, including delivery, for just 77p. He shared his fast food hack on a Facebook page that allows users to share their top money saving tips.
The super-saving dad from Lancashire told The Sun newspaper: "It [the Facebook group] helped me financially, as being a student can be hard at times, especially at Christmas."
To take advantage of this amazing deal, all you have to do is create an Uber Eats account and download the free app. If you've already got it, just uninstall and then re-install it.
You then need to just enter the promo code, '10OFFMASTERCARD' or 'GET MASTERCARD' at the bottom of the screen at checkout. The offer runs until December 21 and there is no minimum spend.
