Adam Thomas says he's struggling with his "unpleasant" arthritis treatment in a fresh health update shared on Instagram.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis last year, keeping his followers updated on social media.
Now the 34-year-old actor has given his 1million fans a glimpse into the cocktail of medication he needs to keep on top of his condition.

"Don't mean to bore you guys, but just wanted to try and shed a little more light on arthritis and my journey so far," he penned in a new post.
"I'm on my 2nd week of methotrexate which is basically a small dose of chemotherapy to reduce the inflammation in my joints."
Adam says his first week "wasn't so pleasant" and that he "struggled a lot", but wasn't wanting to give up just yet.
He explained: "Hopefully it was just my body adjusting to the meds and this week will be better… fingers crossed."

The Waterloo Road fan-favourite said his methotrexate medication takes eight to 12 weeks to work, so pain will continue in the meantime.
"I'm taking steroids which are easing the pain a little but its still there, but it's bearable… I can walk that's the main thing," he explained.
"I understand everyone is on their own journey, well, this is MINE.

"I'm not condoning you to do the same, but I feel like I have tried everything and in all honesty am desperate to get my life back.
"Again just want to say to anyone who is suffering with arthritis to do their own research like I did! And what ever journey you decide to go on good luck."
