EX-BBC Radio 1 DJ Devin Griffin – known as Dev – has left the radio station after seven years to start a new show at Heart.
The broadcast funnyman posed for a selfie behind his new red Heart microphone this afternoon (January 2) after leaving Radio 1 yesterday.
Dev said: "As this year finishes it marks the end of a huge era in my life. 7 years of broadcasting on BBC 1xtra and 11 on BBC Radio 1.
"I've been able to work with some of the most talented, kind hearted and funny people in the world, interviewed some of my favourite people off the telly, played and supported loads of new artists and bands, and completely over shared graphic intimate details about my personal life to an unsuspecting audience.
"It's been the time of my life, I have spent the last 18 years laughing until my ribs hurt, had so many incredible and weird experiences and made friends for life.
"Thank you to all of the listeners for telling me your stories and sharing your lives it's been a pleasure entertaining / annoying you for so long.
"I'm excited for my next chapter and some new challenges so check me out in my new home on @thisisheart starting this Saturday 12-4pm."
