A WOMAN is wanted by police after she launched a violent homophobic attack on two men on the tube after they asked her to "move her bag".
The Met are keen to identify the woman who abused the men on board a Hammersmith and City line tube train on Thursday, August 9 2018.
The two men reportedly asked the woman if she could move her bag from a seat so they could sit down – the woman then shouted homophobic abuse at them.
The incident took place at around 7.30am after the men boarded at Plaistow – after shouting verbal abuse the woman allegedly hit one of them in the face several times.
Before leaving the train at Bromley by Bow Station, the woman then threw coffee at the victims, the Met have revealed.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "Officers would like to identify a woman after a homophobic incident on board a Hammersmith and City line tube train.
"If you witnessed the incident please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 143 of 9/08/18."
