SOCIAL media platform Instagram has crashed, leaving thousands without the ability to share photos of their Starbucks cups online.
The app crashed at around 8pm tonight (Friday July 13) with some people blaming the infamous 'bad luck day' for the downtime.

A hashtag, used only in situations like this one, is beginning to creep up the Twitter trending list; #InstagramDown is being used by hundreds of users.
The cause of the crash is not yet confirmed.
