A LORRY driver stopped in the middle of a motorway to race a performance BMW during an "average Sunday in Leeds".
The white artic truck can be seen on video stopping alongside a loud M-performance BMW 1 series on the main road in West Yorkshire.

Occupants inside the BMW M140i can be heard giggling as petrolheads sat along the central reservation egged on both drivers.
In true Fast and Furious style, a man can be seen in the middle of the road with what looks to be a flag to begin the race.
The video, which has been uploaded to TikTok by user d13_aha, has now been seen thousands of times – it is aptly captioned 'M140i VS Lorry'.
Giving the thumbs up, the lorry driver looked as if he tried his best to keep up with the speedy BMW which revved its engine as it took off.
It was hardly a race in the end as the lorry was well and truly left in the dust – left behind in the echos of the BMW's performance exhaust.
Making reference to Fast and Furious, one commenter said: "Dude I almost had you." "At least you let the guy win," joked another.
"How have you got the road to yourselves?" asked one TikToker. "[I] was at a [car] meet," replied the original poster of the video.
According to the Road Traffic Act of 1988, a person who promotes or takes part in a race or trial of speed between motor vehicles on a public way is guilty of an offence.
If caught, you could be hit with a £2,500 fine, 11 points on your licence and a court can also order a complete driving ban.
